Access to Work

What is Access to Work?

Access to Work is a government-funded program designed to support individuals who need additional help to thrive in their job or while running a business. This can include funding for coaching to help you overcome work-related challenges and to leverage your unique strengths in your professional life.

How can coaching help you?

Through the Access to Work grant, you can access coaching that is tailored specifically to your needs. As a specialised therapeutic coach for neurodiverse and neuro-curious adults, I can support you to:

1.
Understand how to navigate your workplace or your business environment in a way that honours your neurodivergence.
2.
Work with your employer to identify and implement reasonable adjustments that make your work environment more conducive to your success.
3.
Map out a career path and development plan that aligns with your goals and aspirations.
4.
Identify and tackle barriers that are holding you back from achieving your full potential.
5.
Dig deep into the roots of issues that affect you in the present day.

How is my coaching different?

As a qualified coach and therapist I think that the blend between the two is the most powerful place to be in supporting clients.

In purely coaching work, I often felt as though my work with clients was held back by the boundaries around how far we could safely work with trauma and past events which inevitably affects peoples’ lives in the present and their ability to plan towards future success.

I have used the analogy of feeling as though there were doors that needed to remain closed in our work that but through qualifying as an integrative counsellor, we can now work safely to open the doors to examine whatever issues need to be brought into our sessions to make a real difference.

Choosing the right coach for you is crucial. It’s important to be in a supportive and understanding space for you to explore challenges and find effective solutions. You need someone who isn’t just knowledgeable, but who also has lived experience to make them deeply empathetic to the neurodivergent experience.

My approach blends therapeutic insight with practical coaching strategies, all designed to help you thrive both personally and professionally.

If you’re part of the Access to Work scheme and are ready to take a significant step towards enhancing your career and personal life, I’m here to help. Get in touch today to discuss how we can tailor my coaching services to fit your needs.
